“It is more blessed to give than to receive”
When I created Tribute National Talent, I wanted my company to be known as one that cares about families. In doing so, I will always do my part to give back and to help others by making a difference and to Pay It Forward.
As a Tribute to my father who was a very giving man, I want to carry on his legacy and make sure that Tribute stands for more than just a dance competition. With strength of family as my foundation, I know that I can offer assistance by donating to help children and families. With each new year I am so humbled by the support of so many wonderful teachers and families. In comparison to many of the other competitions and conventions in the industry today, my company is much smaller yet I feel so fortunate to be in a position to use my company as a way to give back.
With the support that we have received, we have donated over $60,000 to various organizations and families to do our part to help others. As we move into our 11th season in 2022, we really want our donation program to focus more on helping dance families rather than large organizations. In order to help others in a more personal way we started to make donations face to face at each event to families who are experiencing some hardships and need a helping hand. The studio owners and teachers will play a huge role in nominating a family from their studio who needs financial help. This will not be a public presentation or posted on our website, this will be a private donation given at each event to families in need.
I would like to thank so many of you who have supported Tribute over the last 10 years which has enabled me to give these donations. I always want Tribute to stand for generosity and compassion and with your support my visions and dreams have become a reality.
